Description
For the customers, this project was a second chance for a well-designed, concise and functional garden, comfortable to live in. The couple had clear wishes — a variety of vacation spots, between which you can move depending on the weather and time of day. So that you can soak up the morning sun in the garden, hide in the cool shade on a hot day and watch the beautiful sunset.
As a solution, we have located two dining areas on the site, one of which is located under a pergola for privacy and escape from direct sunlight and the smell of frying lunch. The other was identified near the terrace, equipped with a grill area.
Near the flower garden with herbs for fragrant tea mixtures and fruit trees there are swings and a children's house, as well as a decorative pond — a drinking bowl for birds.
Using simple lines and a minimal set of proven plants, we have simplified garden maintenance as much as possible. Lawns of an even shape, without plantings, will be easily maintained by a robotic lawn mower.
Diagonally across the entire site there is a 1 meter relief drop, which we have planned correctly, diverted water from the house and added a retaining wall that frames the lawn and at the same time is a long bench.
Results of the work
The garden turned out to be modern and cozy, and the clear lines of the layout will eventually be softened by plants, so that all solutions will remain relevant for many years.
