VELO1 is not just a route, but a whole ecosystem where movement, nature and inspiration are intertwined. Here, along the picturesque Moscow Canal, a specially equipped bike path stretches, where everyone will find their own corner for relaxation. Breathtaking views of the river, where motor ships sail majestically and bright hot air balloon shows take place, complement the feeling of a carefree journey. There is everything you need for a comfortable rest: bike rental points, cozy areas, cafes, convenient transport access and parking.
Walking along VELO1, you will be able to observe how the vegetation replaces one another, creating unique landscapes with a special mood. Each turn opens up new horizons, inviting you to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding world.
We were responsible for the entire design of the vegetation, worked on the recreation areas together with KB Strelka and implemented several sections of the path, including wooden decks in the forest area between Meldino and Dubna. We carefully selected the plants to harmoniously fit the bike path into the surrounding nature and tried to create the feeling that the plants had always grown here, as if by themselves, creating a single ensemble with the natural landscape.
The result of the work Our team took part in the creation of this large-scale project designed to popularize sports and develop tourism between Moscow and St. Petersburg. In 2021, we brought this ambitious project to life, and to this day we look forward to its further development. This project was the result of collaboration with KB strelka and Millhouse. We are glad that VELO1 is not only a comfortable bike path, but also an atmospheric place for the soul, where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and fresh air.
